I am reflecting on the 25th Anniversary of Huronia Community Foundation.
My name is Ruth Gammell and I am the wife of John Gammell.

After Len Self died, a Memorial Fund was established. John Gammell was asked
to join the family in looking after it. Each year, a fundraising event was needed

Foundation of Canada and contacted them. He presented the proposal to Penny

Foundation in Midland. John talked Dunc into serving on the Board and they
were able to attract others to join them. The Foundation was donated the use
of an office in a building on King Street, hired Garry Moorehouse as manager,
