K. J. Ramolla Memorial Fund

The K.J. RAMOLLA MEMORIAL FUND – the largest endowment fund in our foundation’s history – was established to carry on the spirit of K.J. Ramolla. K.J. was a talented hockey player with a bright future who left us too early in a tragic car accident on June 28th 2008. Thanks to the Ramolla family and generous donors who knew and loved K.J., this fund has continued to have a real impact on Huronia and other parts of Simcoe County. Each year, the fund provides a generous annual athletic scholarship at K.J.’s former high school (St. Joseph’s Catholic High School in Barrie) as well as donations to local hospices, food programs and other initiatives aimed at “improving the quality of life and living conditions for people”. K.J. will always be remembered by his family, friends and teammates as a humble, kind, intelligent, generous, selfless and funny young man with an unwavering commitment to excelling at hockey and making people smile. Your donations will help the community and keep K.J.’s memory alive.
