Caring Counts Charity Showcase 2018
A Smart and Caring Community Event for People looking to find the right cause to inspire them!
Join us on Thursday September 27, 2018 when the Huronia Community Foundation will host our annual Caring Counts Charity Showcase being held at the North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre. This event brings together many of the 70+ charities that support the community needs of the Southern Georgian Bay region, and allows these charities an opportunity to reach out to large numbers of the public and business community to highlight the services they provide.
This year, our featured keynote speaker is Erin Bury. Named one of Marketing Magazine’s “Top 30 Under 30”, Erin Bury, Managing Director at creative communications agency Eighty-Eight, is a marketer, a journalist, and start-up enthusiast. Erin will share the ins-and-outs of entrepreneurship, marketing to millennials, creating a killer personal brand, and how to harness the latest digital trends.
Exhibits from local charities and community groups begin at 10:30 am. Presentations and the Keynote address start at 12:00 noon. This free event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
