On Thursday November 28,2019 the Huronia Community Foundation in conjunction with the RBC Foundation and Community Foundations of Canada provided $30,000 in grants to five youth-led initiatives.
Huronia Community Foundation RBC Future Launch Community Challenge
As part of the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge the grants were made to youth-led projects in 150 small and medium sized communities. The RBC Foundation has committed 500 million dollars to such projects over the next ten years.
The five initiatives will focus on empowering youth in order to improve their quality of life and enable them to support each other and give back to their community.
Participating in the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge builds on the Huronia Community Foundations’ long-time support of local youth and youth leadership.
